Homeless animals from the hurricane-battered areas of Louisianna and surrounding areas will be making their way to Los Angeles in coordination with "Operation Pet Lift" and the Helen Woodward Animal Center in San Diego. This L.A.-based effort has been dubbed "Rescue for Ruffugees" and is the coordinated efforts of Los Angeles rescue groups bringing nearly 80 animals to LAX sometime this week courtesy of Continental Airlines.
